Work on Hwy 316 in Hastings, Ravenna Township and Welch Township begins April 28
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Crews will begin work on the Highway 316 improvement project between the south junction of Highway 61 in Welch Township and Tuttle Drive in Hastings on April 28, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, April 28, Highway 316 will be closed in both directions from the south junction of highways 316/61 to 200th Street. This portion of Highway 316 is expected to reopen in early June, followed by two more closures this year.
During this closure there will be a signed regional detour using Highway 61 to bypass Highway 316. There will also be a signed local detour for motorists accessing homes and businesses in the area using Nicolai Avenue and 190th Street.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
